About the Team:
The Leadership Development/Human Resources team helps to recognize and develop the talents, potential and calling of the individuals in our organization. Through LDHR resources, expertise and best practices, we enable our staff to flourish, so together we can achieve the mission of Power to Change (P2C). Our team supports the 10 ministries, 1 partner, and departments of P2C in providing guidance, resources, programs, and services.
We are a collaborative, caring, celebratory, prayerful team that loves to work hard but also laugh with each other! We also enjoy games and food fellowship!
About the Role
The LDHR Administrative Assistant provides customer service to our staff and administrative support to the LDHR team. This position processes and responds to inquiries from staff on LDHR related forms and procedures.
This role will be held accountable to achieving the following objectives:
Administrative Support:
● Confidential administrative support is provided to the Co-Directors of LDHR
● General administrative support to the LDHR team as needed including but not limited to Birkman requests, proof of employment etc
● Monthly reconciliations of various expense accounts including corporate credit cards, Birkman account and other transfers are done accurately and in a timely way
● General inquiries to LDHR’s email inbox and the phone line are responded to in a timely and professional manner
● Assist with P2C recruitment including screening and checking applicant references
● Events and administrative support with P2C’s New Staff Training Program (NST)
● P2C’s internal communication channels i.e. FB Workplace, Opportunities Page and Loop are managed and updated regularly
● Biblical Foundations Program (BF1) are tracked and maintained
● Accurate minutes are taken in all meetings
Event Logistics:
● HR Team meeting and event logistics are handled efficiently
● Assistance to the President's Office with corporate staff events
Other:
● Executing special operations projects as needed
● Attend Chapels weekly and LDHR prayer meetings and Bible studies
● Other duties as assigned
About You
● You have a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
● You have 1 to 3 years experience in an administrative role
● You are resourceful and an initiative taker who will see problems through to solutions
● You have customer service and HR experience (considered an asset)
● You are able to work independently
● You are able to work well with interruptions
● You have a proven ability to manage time
● You are able to shift focus to urgent requests while maintaining accuracy
● You have exceptional accuracy with details
● You have solid written and oral communication skills
● You have outstanding problem-solving skills
● You have strong organizational skills
● You are proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● You are familiar with Google products (Google hangouts, Google docs, etc.)
